Hand-crafted prints. Kind to the planet. By Studio Floc.
From initial sketches to final artworks, all our prints have been developed with quality in mind. We also don’t think that great art should cost the earth.
Our story & process
Floc Shop was launched in 2023 by Studio Floc founder and designer, Florence Cassell. The mission was simple with this project. She wanted to create high quality art that doesn’t cost the earth.
Florence initially puts her ideas to paper using pencil, brushes and paint. She then refines the detail digitally before preparing the artwork for print. Every print is then hand-pulled by local fine art screen printers, attaining the highest possible quality every time.
Kind to the planet
At Floc Shop, we're committed to creating fantastic screen printed products that not only look great but also have a positive impact on the planet. This is how we’re doing it:
01
Going local
We're all about staying local. Our screenprinting happens right here in Bristol, just a short distance from our studio. Why does this matter? It's all about minimising our carbon footprint. By producing everything close to home, we reduce our environmental impact and support the community we cherish.
02
The right paper
Our paper is made in a local Somerset mill and here's the deal: it's 100% cotton. We’re committed to minimising our environmental impact so all materials undergo meticulous screening. The pulps used are sourced from sustainable, forest-friendly origins and the cotton linters are a by-product of the textile industry, extracted from an annual crop.
03
Eco-packaging
We genuinely care about the planet, and that extends to how we package your screenprinted goodies. Our packaging comes from a carbon-neutral certified company. Plus, it's all fully recyclable, so you can keep the sustainability cycle rolling.
